It was founded in 2002. With their company idea and the technology they developed in the sector of wallpaper design and production even in very small numbers, they have solved a situation that had been a problem for long.
High-tech in conjunction with traditional wallpaper manufacturing brought forth a new product - INDIVIDUAL WALLPAPER ON DEMAND, or DPX 465.
Official delivery of digitally produced DPX 465 fleece wallpaper commenced on 1 October 2005. The BERLINTAPETE wallpaper - produced digitally from beginning to end in cooperation with the German Florian Caspar GmbH Tapetenproduktion - has completely fulfilled all demands of the construction, theatre, and architectural industries worldwide and is now market-ready.
The quality of the technical parameters of DPX 465 exceeds our own expectations. The new product shows that BERLINTAPETE is able to contribute its own fortes primarily in communications and product planning, with attractive and powerful digital solutions to digitally produced individual and mass solutions in architecture, photography, and trade fair construction.
Our clients are now able to purchase a unique item at the real market price representing state-of-the-art technology in this segment after four years of development and testing.
Part of this development is the relaunch of the website www.berlintapete.de, which has been completely reprogrammed by the Kombinat Berlin media agency.
In 2004, Berlintapete has been honored with the IF Communication Design Award and was nominated for the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany 2006!
